Frequently Asked Questions

Q: The sticker on my shorts left a messy residue when I removed it.
A: If you have just removed the sticker and notice tacky residue remaining on your shorts, we suggest that you dab this remaining adhesive with the sticker. If this does not remove the residue, or if you already disposed of the sticker, washing the product in warm water should clean it up. For further assistance please call 877.484.9642.

Q: I thought the liners were removable, yet they are attached! How do you remove them?
A: We manufacture our shorts with the liners attached by 2 thin fabric loops at either hip. These loops keep the liner and short together on the retail floor. After purchasing, please unsnap the loops to remove the liner for normal use. You may also wish to cut the loops from the liner and the snap tabs from the shorts. Don't worry, you won't hurt the loops, they don't have feelings.

Q: The tabs holding the liners to my shorts have torn or cause my shorts to fit poorly. Can I return them for repair or replacement?
A: The liner loop tabs are not designed to withstand the tension the pulling and tugging that may occur when you put on or ride in your shorts. Just as you don't wear longjohns attached to your ski pants, we expect you to disconnect the liner from the shorts. Some people have chosen to keep the liners attached, which you are welcome to do, but please be advised that we do not warranty damaged liner loops after purchase.

Q: How do I know which is the front/back, and which is the inside/outside, of my liner?
A: When wearing our liner, it is sometimes mistaken which is the front/back, or inside/outside of the liner. Simple mistake; here's the answer:

Inside/Outside: The pad of the liner is to be worn against the skin, that is the inside of the liner. The fabrics we use to cover our pads are 100% polyester, wicking, anti-microbial fabrics that are designed to keep you cool, dry, and comfortable on your rides.

Front/Back: The widest part of the pad is at the back of the liner, and the narrowerportion of the pad is at the front of the liner. Also a size label is screened inside the back of the liner.

Ideally its fits so well you don't know its there; if its backwards or inside out it will also feel funny, probably indicating something is wrong.

Q: What are the care/washing instructions for ZOIC products?
A: Although some items vary in content (polyester vs. cotton), here is a basic idea of how to properly care for your ZOIC Garments:

Machine wash cold with like colors. Use a mild detergent. Tumble dry low or line dry. Do not use bleach. Do not dry clean.

Q: Can I get a consumer catalog?
A: Part of our effort to be eco-friendly involves conserving resources. As such we do not print consumer catalogs. Our products and current inventory are best seen in our online store.
